About Silk 2

Over 5,000 years ago, in the ancient and mysterious East, a great civilization was born — we call it “Huaxia.”
The ancestors of the Huaxia people were kind and wise. They created a time-honored process: planting mulberry trees, raising silkworms, reeling silk, and weaving fabric.
This is the oldest known method of silk production, and it has been passed down through the generations to this day.
Silk can generally be divided into two categories: natural silk (real silk) and artificial silk (man-made silk). Real silk is far more valuable than artificial silk.
Also known as natural silk, real silk is made from pure mulberry silkworm threads. It is expensive, time-consuming to produce, and requires complex processes.
Its advantages lie in its natural origin, exquisite structure, smooth texture, and elegant, luxurious feel.
Artificial silk, on the other hand, is created through scientific methods. It has lower production costs, shorter manufacturing time, and simpler procedures.
Its strengths include affordability, durability, ease of storage, and it often mimics the characteristics of real silk — plus, it's environmentally friendly.
Compared to artificial silk, I personally prefer real silk. Not just because of its higher value, but because it is truly beautiful!
If you saw a side-by-side comparison in person, I’m sure you would choose real silk without hesitation — and the price difference isn’t all that big.
Of course, in the best-case scenario, there's no need to choose at all — you could buy both real and artificial silk. That, of course, depends on the customer’s budget!
See you next time! Have a good day!
