A Monologue From Founder Dana (二)

Many years ago, while on a business trip to Pakistan,
I once tried fasting –experiencing “not eating for a week.”
Actually, local Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset during this time, engaging in devout reflection instead.
Later, when I Travelled to New Zealand, I encountered another love of my life – wool.
Merino wool, besides silk, is another natural and eco-friendly material.
Perhaps it’s because the place deeply embraces “nature” –
You can see people walking barefoot on the streets of New Zealand,
or lying unrestrained on the beach, sunbathing.
That imagery is so full of “vitality” and so free.
In the Pandemic, I published my poems alongside other writers in a collection ; during this time,I got my master of Physiological of Science.
So, from 1994 to 2025, time has flown by – 31 years in the blink of an eye.
I’m Dana, a girl who loves silk.
There are many more stories to share, and I’ll take my time telling them to you.
